We are thrilled to announce the opening of another new European studio – in Budapest, Hungary! Budapest will be our fourth site in Europe, joining our studios in London, Sofia, and Barcelona, and our wider global network of studios across North America and India.
The Budapest studio will be led by VFX Supervisor Ashraf Elsayed Hassan (Gooseboy, Border, Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV), who brings over 20 years of industry experience to the role.
Talking about the new studio, ReDefine Managing Director Rohan Desai said: “I’m delighted to announce the opening of our fourth European studio – in the historic city of Budapest. Hungary’s capital is a world-renowned centre of culture and one of Europe’s largest cities, as well as being the centre of Hungary’s busy media industry. We have job opportunities for talented individuals at all levels and across all departments, and Ashraf and I look forward to building a team that will put Budapest firmly on the map as a centre for top-flight visual effects work.”
VFX Supervisor Ashraf Hassan added: “It has long been a dream of mine to create opportunities for all the amazing home-grown talent in Hungary to work on international projects at the very highest level. With the opening of ReDefine Budapest my dream is coming true, and I’m excited to talk to artists at all levels about coming on-board to create a truly special new studio. We’re building a home here in the heart of Budapest where creativity can thrive – come and join us!”
As Ashraf says, we’re looking for great people to help us build ReDefine Budapest. If you are a VFX or Animation artist who wants to ReDefine their career and work on exciting international projects, please submit your application here.
