ReDefine wins first VES Award!

ReDefine’s work on ‘The Penguin’ was honoured with a VES Award at the 23rd Annual VES Awards Ceremony!

We took home our first VES Award last night! Our work on The Penguin won in the 'Outstanding Compositing & Lighting in an Episode' category! Huge congratulations to VES award-winner Miky Girón and our incredible team for their amazing work!

ReDefine wins a VES Award! - Still 1

Led by our VFX supervisory team in Barcelona, our crew delivered 277 shots across 58 sequences for 6 of The Penguin’s 8 episodes—tackling complex 3D simulations for large-scale destruction, as well as 2D compositing and 2.5D digital matte paintings. This included extensive Gotham City environments, set extensions, muzzle flashes, blood splatters, and winterization effects!

Congratulations to our VFX team for this incredible achievement! We couldn’t be prouder of this recognition, and we look forward to continuing to unleash the potential in every story.
